One of the comments after the article claim it was a charter, bought for the summer. The poster goes on to claim the journalist should 'do some proper journalism'. No idea if it's true or not, and not really that interested in this type of 'celebrity'.

Before anyone points it out, I read the article because I had no idea who he was.

The DailyMail have never very good at their boats, so to get the facts correct...
The boat pictured is the Sunseeker Predator 115. At 114ft (34.53m) it is a far cry from 'nearly 50m'. It is also £9,203,000 + VAT.

For £5.2m you could get the Predator 84.

I only have the basic list stating the price with different engines, but the Yacht 80 is as follows;

He tweeted put a deposit down on a sunseeker bring on the summer.. Is that when they told him it would be ready, thought they had waiting list..

Seagulls put deposits on boats every day but it doesn't mean they can follow through with a full payment!

that doesnt suprise me at all because all of these stars get paid way too much money for what they do. also the pictures are of 2 different boats. the on with him inside is the 28 metre yacht and the one of him outside shaking hands with a woman is the predator 115 so the newspapers look like they have got a bit confused there as usual really
