At risk of making this look all official 'like'...........we are researching an article called 'bloody hell how much?', and before plunging into debt once more are wondering if anyone here has any advice to offer maybe helping me not to 'do-it'! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Best Regards

Well, there's "Debt" and there's "Crippling Debt".
If it only involves the first, then why not?

... so long as you can cope with the image change /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Might also be worth looking at Princess V50's and similar.

He who dies with the most debt is still dead /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You will get no calling for restraint from me /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Go for it

I was.................'Actually'................looking from constructive, experienced comments from ex or current owners...............I get...................the expected 'Micky Taking'. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The only thing that worries me really is the fact that one of those bad boys could conceivably hold 3 grands worth of diesel!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

May, hows yer bed????? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

What age are you looking at Jason, and with which engines?

So long as you are prepared for using four times the amount of fuel your T37 uses I dont see why not. Look at the V50 from Princess as well. INHO a nicer boat, but then I prefer things a little less bling /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Fraid I don't know anything about them, apart from staring enviously during Boat Shows but, putting aside the bling thing, Squeekers generally have excellent seakindly hulls, are well put together (try and find Magnum's posts about the construction of his Predator for more info) and exceedingly sexy to behold.

The downside is that you may be suspected of being Peter Stringfellow - but only if you keep her in the Baleares /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Hey, you may scoff at Peter Stringfellow but we regularly see him on Bmi flights to/from Palma and despite being a small grizzled ugly bloke, he's always accompanied by some gorgeous totty or two or three so, if that's what having a Sunsqeaker does for you, I want some, although I guess having a few quid in the bank helps.

I would guess the latter point is very true in this case, I own a ss and like Peter S,was also born in the ugly tree, but I didn't fall out of the tree and hit every branch on the way down, some do you know, and they still get the totty, it's the money, yes, definitely the money, sunseekers don't make you attractive to women, it's all about the money,...........did I say I think it's the money? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well I thankyou all for your comments, however beaing an 'Adonis' myself, I dont have the need to impress the ladies, and SWMBO is equally as impressed by the Sunseekers charms as myself agree's with me that we already have a beautiful daughter who is a maximus pain in the arse as any apprentise SWMBO could be, there is no need for concern about the pre determined 'Image' that may be attached to the brand!

Therefore I shall look forward to receiving my re print of said report in order that I can research the model! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Niall.................trust me you be impressed, but far too old!!!

Also she would beat you within an inch of your life with moronic dribble about 'Jigaboo Music' jennifer Lopez, Jordan, J-Zee or any other total crap that 15 going on 20 year olds bore themselves and all those within ear shot with!

Sorry mate............'Dont Go There' /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Poweryacht, cheers mate, I ordered what I thought was a pdf download, I think I cocked it up somewhere because they are going to send it tyo me as soon as possible..............think I pressed the postal option by mistake. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Does anyone have any 'REAL' estimations of fuel 'DRINKAGE' of a CAT 660 or Volvo D-12 engined model, or should I not ask and just pour the stuff into the sea direct from the fuel pump at Sparkes??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Niall, you never know - I met my future SWMBO when she was 15/16 (used to babysit for friends of mine). We married when she was 19 (I was 30). Mind you, she loves sailing (and now MoBoing) and there was none of the pop culture rubbish attached.

Now 30+ years later, and with two financially independent sons in their mid twenties, we are starting to enjoy retirement.

(Hmm, bearing in mind the critical comments on various subjects recently - should I post this ? - why not.)

Ah it was a joke lads... i'm only after the Sunseeker /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ah i'm grand the way I am, and the girliefriend doesn't complain too often... I think i've found 'the one' - Because she's still there even after I sold my sports cruiser, and the best line she's ever come out with... "I don't care if you don't have a boat this season - I don't mind camping and having no toilet, cooker, hair straightener, comfy bed etc..." .... If that's not true love, I don't know what is!
