Taken about 7.20 this morning from Barry Harbour looking across towards Weston SuperMare. The Island silhouetted to the right of the breakwater is Steepholme.

I always thought Barry was a beautiful place, especially at the end of six weeks on Discovery. Sadly I've not been there for, well, more than 5 years. How's the No. 1 dock looking these days, have they pulled down the old RVS building and built all those Ocean Village flats they were talking about yet?

Hello Dave You would hardly recognise the place. All redeveloped along the North side.Houses Flats etc .A Morrisons Supermarket also.

The Oil Tanks and the old N.E.R.C. building are still there. The Tanks are being removed for more houses and a rumoured marina development .The Nerc building is rumoured to be let to Halmatics for a boat building /repairing operation.
