Saw an ad in Jan MBY for Sunquest, apparantly they do a range of flybridge boats up to 50ft. Why havent I seen evidence of them before in either real life or on brokerage ads?

Just looked at the ad again John Bennett design, up to 58ft. Think its a custom build thing

They have been around for years. I recall that MBY or MBM did a series following a chap building a 50' plus one. You can either buy a completed boat, a motor-away that requires fit out, or just the finished hull and superstructure.

If you had a real pro fit-out I think they would be fine, but I believe thay have a slight stigma due to poor home completion jobs.

AFAIK Sunquest was the name used by Colvic for the boats they built and sold themselves. Colvic also moulded hulls for other companies and for self built completion, some of which may also carry the Sunquest name. Colvic went out of business a while back but I think they're up and running again.
Because of the self build thing, I dont think that Sunquests have a good market image and may be hard to sell, apart also from the fact that the build quality may vary considerably
