SWMBO's birthday yesterday... and a bit of a milestone for us both this year, for my birthday a couple of weeks ago SWMBO offered to take me away... I accepted her offer and she drove me to Mercury, what a girl! But she failed to organise the weather and it p###ed down... :):rolleyes:

Now its her turn this weekend, I offered to take her away, and guess what, she accepted with a proviso, anywhere but the boat..... :mad::mad::mad:

So off to the Cotswold's we go to do battle with every other bloody caravan and coach and Sunday driver the great unwashed can throw at us!!! :confused::confused:

The peace and serenity of the boat, pottering over to Thorness Bay for lunch on Saturday, onto Lymington for the evening and back home Sunday..... in my dreams :rolleyes:

I suppose you got to do it sometimes! :D:D

Hey, I've warned you all on Monday....... Boats out the water for 10 days, so sod's law it was going to be ace weather!!.........She goes back in next Friday, so make the most of it till then!!!

Dont think we will be going far this weekend. We have to get the boat prepped and ready for her next great adventure (well for us it will be, first time at sea) next weekend. So we will be washing, stocking up and checking things rather than enjoying the sunshine. Although im sure we can squeeze in a BBQ or two.

either way have a good trip !!
can recommend grimsby marine overnight (h.c.a) £1.30 a pint get waded in!!!!

We are going out at Boston and across the wash. Hopefully making it from Boston to Wells in the one tide. I say hopefully as we have 7 or 8 boats coming, of which 5 or 6 have never been to sea, so getting us all there intact could be interesting!!!!

Hmm, i think i have been done over. We have a party to go to tonight in Sheffield, so i have been called upon as driver. I wont be having a drink until the party has finished and i have driven the OH and myself to the boat which is in Lincoln.

I shall just have to make up for it tomorrow, after all the improtant jobs have been finished of course.
 
You are not alone my wife's birthday tomorrow. So guess what no boat for me. We are going horse riding and shopping ......

Sunday I suggested instead of meeting all parents for lunch at a country pub we take them all on the boat ... no wants to spend time with the horse and relaxing.

I do not meen to moan either but sods law with the weather never mind. The next three weekenda are mine.

But this should get me brownie points.
