One of the fleet of " Victory's " that sail out of Portsmouth Harbour.
Very nice wooden keel boats about 18'
Went down yesterday afternoon whilst racing, and recovered into the Camber at
Old Portsmouth in the early evening.

Know them well and have towed them back into portsmouth harbour on several occasions. Glad they have recovered, and hope not too much damage.

My very first recollection of sailing as a kid is aboard one of the Victory's - Zelia - in the early sixites. My father knew somebody who sailed on them, through the Electricity SC I think.

I checked the fleet in Haslar on Friday and couldn't see her there, but that was before the subject incident.

I would love to know if she is still around.
