We'd just past St Margeurite island heading towards Cannes when we looked back and saw this unbeleivable sight, makes you think about them rocks. Just hope all on board are ok, the 'mer propre' divers were quick in to action.

That's not the place where the hidden rocks are though. So far as I can tell from the pic, it's between the Palm beach casino/peninsula east of Port Canto, and the northerly (big) island. But it is very shallow there. Maybe they just grounded and ripped the propshafts out, which would certainly fill a boat like that with water fairly quickly

What a shame. Hope they can repair it.

He was about 100m WNW of the big island facing towards Palm beach. It prompted me to raise the drive whilst slow trolling the area.

someone's had a really bad day, what a terrible shame. So long as divers were down quick with their airbags and got it lifted its amazing what can be salvaged.

Thanks. That's what I thought - the stubby tower behind gives the location away. It's flattish there on the bottom but very shallow and gets to <2m in some patches, though it's in more than 2m where the pic is taken, by the looks of it.
