Cant say about the Oakleys - I wear them ashore, but find the lenses smallish afloat.

If you want a staggeringly wide range of sunglasses aimed purely at the sailor then look at http://www.ullman-sails.com/english/index.html

The best I have ever owned have been a pair of polarised Serengetti's - just brilliant, but I cant find their WWW details

I bought a good pair at Southampton Boat Show a year or so back. Each lense consisted of 2 polarised lenses, one behind the other, so you can rotate the polarisation between the lenses from 0 to 90 degrees so you can control how much light gets through.

They cost £20, what makes the ones you are considering worth £120?

I agree absolutely about the Serengettis - fabulous! They might be over the £120 budget, though.
