The ONLY place to eat pizza, drink cheap VATs and view the harbour from rooftop level. Highly amusing waiters make up your bill total depending upon their mood and its mix of yachties and locals is refreshing.
If you live in Turkey it's not all kebaps and raki, so having a variety of foods is important, unless you think you should only eat traditional food when in a country. If you visited New Zealand would you stick to eating clay-baked rodent?
Sunger does all the traditional Turkish fare too so don't cry, it has it all, but as I said it's a great mix of Turks and yachties and there are as many Turks eating pizza as there are yachties so if its good enough for them.....
Really though Sunger is about atmosphere and views so I wouldn't throw your dollies out your pram over the fact it's a pizzaria.
