'Tiny point of order tho. .. . tomoro's the 19th ' Sure is, apologies Lisilou, knew I should have put specs on before turning laptop on! OK will make sure camera is to hand. Dug out Burgee, gave Mouse a poke after his slumber and he is rarin' to go!
Yes as predicted, it was brilliant. Hopefully if I get the pictures to attach, the Solent was emptier than I have ever seen it in clear weather, albeit short lived. One picture was taken looking West from just South of Brambles towards Needles. At a rough guess there is around 30+ square miles of water and I think I can make out 3 boats at around 11am. I was even able to have a choice of mooring out side The Folly.:encouragement:
We were at The Needles at about midday on Sunday.
The trip down was very flat but still a little lumpy towards The Needles.
There was also a brief but sudden change of conditions.
Then five minutes later.
Yes it can change quickly as your pics prove, and despite the sun being very low at this time of year, it makes the day soooooo much better when it is shining. Nice to be out though. No boating this weekend, off t0 play in the snow for a week.
