Sunbury lock manning

I have been assured this morning by EA that Sunbury lock will be manned every day this coming weekend with additional relief assistance on some days.
I expect the rota on the RivCon web page to be updated to reflect this later today.

I’m planning on a trip to Shepperton next week. Do we know the status of lock at present ?

Given Tedd closed last night I’m not holding out much hope !

This update was posted on River Conditions page pm 3rd May:
“Sunbury Lock will be closed outside of lock keeper hours due to lock breakdown on public power and hand wind. If emergency access is required please report on incident line: 0800 80 70 60.”

As far as I am aware the EA are still endeavouring to provide single site lockie cover every day during normal duty hours.
