For those of you who hadn't heard of this boat/hotel it is moored next to the ExCel exhibition centre so will be v. convenient when the boat show moves there in 2004.

What I want to know is whether it is a proper functioning boat with engine and things or is it just a shell with cabins fitted out.

Perhaps Sealine and the like could offer their boats without engines to make them true floating caravans.

imitation superyacht, and jan 11

well it might float and have cabins and generators and engines so it can get up the thames, but otherwise it is clearly made of papier maché.

Also, there's no plumbing! For example, the faux-bogs require the constant attention of waiters who suck and syphon all the doings into plastic bags just behind the walls.

If anyone else is looking for lodgings or a party on the last weekend of LBS, ps PM me. Incidentally, the streets of London are paved with gold BUT that was obviously a while ago and the gold has been covered over with 10 inches of tarmac.

Cant remember where I heard it but, I thought most boats in the med had no engines in them. Just parked up in swanky places with engine room turned into brothel, srory bedroom.

You have no right to put a photo of my latest TSDY in this forum. Now everyone will want a run out from Henley to Windsor on it.
