After a truly fantastic winter here in Marina di Ragusa it's obviously (well over) time we should be heading off. Hmm, social life has been so good that few of the necessary boat jobs are done. Oh well there's always next month, right?

Is it only us, pausing for Sailaboutvic to tell us all to get our bums into gear...., or are there others out there who aren't in a rush and planning a very lazy cruising season?

We're not heading further than around Sicily and Malta, for the first time ever NO flights are to be booked until we know where we'll be thus avoiding the mad dash in less than perfect conditions simply to collect guests (sorry kids)!

What's everyone else up to?

We left Crete a few weeks go and headed to the Saronic Gulf where we spent Easter with Greek friends. We're now island hopping our way to Turkey where we plan to have a lazy summer!

I don’t even plan.

Why ?

Looks as I will start sailing around a bit later, still have some varnishing to do. Can see a distant little cloud, so not today. Will have to study that cloud all day.

On the other hand, I could leave this anchorage in five minutes.

Always problems and heavy decisions to take.

Excuse me for posting a reply in this thread. I am not a liveaboard but still I spend 100days/year on my sailing boat. In summer I cruise Greece but till end of June I cruise around Croatian islands. At the moment I am anchoring at Silba island. Today is the 1st of May and many "concesionars" started to collect mooring fees- sign that tourist season is here...

If anyone of you will be cruising this region, do not hesitate to contact me.
Have fun (specialy for those who are cruising Cyclades -love them!!).

love to read your posts...
