Summer Sailing Holiday 2008

Looking at Baja, Belize or Seychelles in early August.

Any commentary, advice, cautions or comments to help me make an informed choice would be welcomed.

What`s wrong with the West country, Normandy, Brittany or the Channel islands or if you are very adventurous Belgium and Holland! Can recommend a good bar in Cherbourg, you will get heat stroke in all those hot places let alone youur carbon footprint, SWMBO asked a year or so ago about a week tied up in Newport IOW with a rover bus ticket, now there`s fun!

Belize, hurricane Season!

Baja, VERY hot at that time..... and potential for tropical storm as well...Hurricane Ignacio in 2003 hit Baja in late August...

Will accept the hurricane risk for Belize - very early in the season (we're looking at early August, maybe even late July).

Have you sailed there or in Baja?
