Evening, everyone,

I finally managed to put together this video of our last years cruising highlights, and I thought I'd share it. I know many of you are wondering when and how to get to your boats, and I can only hope things get better soon, so we can all socially distance ourselves to open seas :).

For those whom I haven't yet had the pleasure of virtually meeting, I do my boating in the Baltic, on the Finnish coast, that's where the locations on the vid are from.

Looks like a great time was had. The cruising grounds look amazing, and some nice boat handling on display aswell (y) .
I worked over in Finland / Helsinki many years ago, but it was the depths of winter, so I never realised how popular boating was out there.

I cannot stop watching it, very nice! Btw we spent some day’s remote working in the western archipelago of Helsinki some weeks back and I saw your boat Aida moored in Lähteelä. Tried to say hello but it seemed that the crew was away, She looked very nice as usual. Your video is also a very good warm up for the coming adventures. Cu in the archipelago sea in July maybe

Thanks, F ?. Yep, we left her there for a short while before heading back west. Currently enjoying the heat in Tammisaari. A fantastic place with the beach for the kids right next to the marina. Cu around!

Superb production K, guaranteed to brighten up any dull day :), also appreciate the amount of work/editing put into creating this. I’ve often said the Vids get better each season, this is no exception!
They say the Finns are a hardy breed....I would not have been sitting in the flybridge with all that Baltic wind driven spray showering me ;)
What are you plans for this summer?

Never thought it to be hardy, but any perceived hardiness may come from the fact that you learn to live with -20c temps with sometimes wind, so missing conditions like that would be missing out on summer ?.

This summer we are staying on the same area. Not visiting Sweden this year, just taking it easy in the archipelago. So far the weather has been fantastic, but that is due to change into more typical unsettled weather...

I don’t think many people are moving too far from their countries of origin until things settle down a bit. I actually think we in the Southern Hemisphere are a little bit lucky not having our summer season start so soon after lockdown. Anyway I’m sure you and the family will enjoy your lovely local waterways, and maybe produce some more footage for us to enjoy vicariously, cheers
