Looked like a bouncy ride in the first clip. Never thought of that with cats, OK they don't heel as much, but the horizon astern was still bobbing up & down like a yo-yo. Ta.

[geordie accent]Deh whon,[/geordie accent] A quick sail over to Pwllheli from Porthmadog, note how warm things look during AUGUST!

Then a few days later we sailed into Barmouth, well motored it was mirror calm, but there was a gale forecast so we decided to er on caution and sit it out in Barmouth for 24 hours. This is the first evening, note the bloke running the generator, every time he wanted tea or toast. He rafted to us once, never again, it was like trying to sleep in an engine room in the morning when he awoke and made himeself breakfast.

The weather was downgraded to a passing F6, but we chose to sit that out for 24hrs and move on to Fishguard after it had passed through. What actually happened, we had 5 solid days of this ....

I took my new snorkelling gear just in case, I just didn't expect to need it in the cockpit!
