Folks,

I've just removed the anode fixing stud from the underside of the hull. What would people recommend as the best sealant to use for the new replacement? Obviously has to be suitable for underwater and may have to be replaced in the future.

Thanks

Arbokol 1000 ( a polysulphide) ,
Sikaflex 291i,
CT1,
Puraflex PU40 ( a polyurethane similar to Sikaflex )
StiXall ( a silicone copolymer similar to CT1)

You name it someone will recommend it ......... except ordinary silicone

Remember that the more powerfull adhesives may make removal more difficult.

Chewing gum would probably be good enough

Add Geocel Works to your list. Been using it for skin fittings and deck fittings for years. About £7 per tube.
