Suez Canal

I need to get spares to my son who is expecting to transit Suez canal in his Contessa 32 Jemmana (on return passage north from NZ to UK).

Does anyone know location? Apparently no yacht club, but am in touch with Norwegian transit company. Is there a better contact you can recommend?

Having transitted the Suez Canal numerous times while in the MN, I remember seeing a yacht club at the southern end. It is at Port Tewfik, which is near to Port Suez, but is in the canal about half mile in going north.

Contact P&O-Nedlloyd - offices in London, look at bt.com for directory enquiries for phone number - and they could tell you the name of the agent they use at Port Said and Port Tewfik. I was with them on the containerships until retirement, but forget the name of the agency.
