I have a Ford 4.1L 4cyl engine, model 2722E (1960s) which has suddenly lost half it's oil into the bilge. There are no obvious signs of leakage or corrosion although the dipstick was loose on its mounting tube. Could I have a blockage somewhere which has pressurised the sump?
