Stupid question

Those big wide barge type things....

Some of them have a large paddle type board stuck on their sides, they look like a sort of folded-in insects wing.

What on earth is it??? It is perplexing me and I'm rather puzzled. Is it a wing or a side stand or a weird rowing paddle or perhaps a drawbridge.

Please help - I'm simply unable to sleep at night.

Thanks

The drawing surpasses my silly silly post.

But as you can see, it's a widespread issue..... causing a lot of bother. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's amazing, they look so sedate when on the river it doesn't seem possible they can throw them around like that. What chance the kitchen equipment surviving?

An extraordinary video

A small child tearing down a road sign with is bare hands, a hunchback crossing a bridge, a man in a lock 'doing something', video you, video me and a dog with concrete boots towing something terribly heavy in his teeth..... and those freaky boats.

Holland, yes?

It is my considered opinion that those lee boards need to be a tad longer.

After all, there isn't going to be much leverage when you're standing on them and hauling on the gib sheet to right a capsize.
