Stuffing box worries

Having read a few posts on the subject I am begining to worry. I have just installed a new propshaft and used paxo sage and onion for the stuffing thinking it would swell out nicely and form a good seal. I saved what was left over thinking I could use it to stuff a sea fowl once caught. That way I get a twofer.
Have I fowled up?

No No.
Paxo is so last year.
You should be making your own from organic herring jiblets and sun dried seaweed.

Maybe I stuffed up on the flavour as well. Does the organic stuff swell as much as paxo though?
