We are aware that the BORG website has grown organically over the years, and it has become quite difficult to find specific information.

Marlynspyke has therefore written a summary of our objections to the Natural England Advice, and the MMO stance . In the meantime we are working to weed out old or irrelevant material, and to re-organise the site to make it more user friendly.

A detailed summary of our position is to be found here:

Thanks oldharry I think this excellent info deserves a bit of a bump.

A bit on country file (BBC 1) this evening about seagrass in North Wales. Seems that they are monitoring it at present to see whether it is increasing, decreasing or staying the same in size, etc. I didn't hear any mention of anchors but it was in a small harbour with boats nearby.

Didnt see it , but that will be Porth Dinllaen on the Lleyn peninsular, under the watchful, knowledgeable and sympathetic eye of Richard Unsworth who is overseeing the Dale AMS experiment.

'PY' as it is known locally is the only shelter on the N Coast of the Lleyn, and a favourite waiting place for the tide to get across Caernarfon Bar in to the Menai for boats coming up from the South or West. There is Pilots Cove just at the entrance to the Bar, but less water, more exposed and no Pub!

I have just read the document and would like to add my profound thanks for the authors who have put together a coherent and substantive document which were it to be read would refute the unsubstantiated claims made by other witnesses and authorities who ought to be embarrassed by their lack of proper review. If such a document were to be ignored again it just perpetuates my view that sensible facts are washed away by vested emotional interest which is much to the detriment of all.

Thank you
