Does anyone know of a source for - a] a manual for this beast? - Stuart Turner P66 two cylinder engine.
It's in good nick, running well at the moment, but a total mystery to me after diesel engines.
b] a source of spare parts? In New Zealand it's just about all diesels, but I hate to throw a perfectly good piece of machinery away, apart from the expense of replacing it.

Hi
I have an owners instruction book for P5 & P55 engines, but I've not heard of a P66.If its any use I could Email it but it's 28 pages so it'll take a while.
As far as I know most of the Stuart Turner spares were bought by Fairway Marine Engineers of Maldon Essex UK 01621 852866.Stuart Turner are still in business I think but make garden pumps now.
It's not often that you hear the phrases "good piece of engineering" & "Stuart Turner" used together.

hi dan i had a stuart turner in a 14foot open boat, it was a bugger to start but once it fired it was great, could turn the fly wheel by hand get a click from the mag and off she would go, if you were going full engine revs in our boat you sat on the port side and the revs went up, just dont lean the boat to stbd else she ran like a dog, very relaxing engine to listen to compared to a modern one, yes i cursed mine especially on a winters day cheers keith
