in Elba, its obviously a Tug Boat and its name is STRONG.

Its looks haunt me, where’s it from originally ?, its says Clyde all over itself to me. Obviously been converted to a luxury motor yacht (?) why why why ?

Anyone know ?

Re: Clyde?

You`re right it`s San Francisco.... I think... is that where it reminds me of ? ...... I`ve got to find out !!!! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

She's an American pusher tug. The bow is designed to fit into a notch on the stern of a barge. She's meant for sheltered waters - wonder how she got to Elba? Deck cargo presumably. Wouldn't want to take her out in the deep blue. The fine bow would spend more time under the water than above it! No reserve buoyancy. All that said, she's a beaut.

What a super looking boat. Guess the owner must be very proud with that one, far better then those other jelly moulds she has each side of her.
