I've just spent 3 days up on Anglesey with work, stayed in a hotel in Bangor overlooking the Menai Straits and went for a wander alongside the water watching the tidal race. I'd not witnessed the speed of the tide up there before and it's truly impressive, especially on the springs as it has been. Looking at a couple of channel markers as the tide came in the 'wake' they were creating was mega. Looked to be an interesting channel to navigate...
