Can anyone recommend a supplier of vinyl stripes for the hull. I can find a few suppliers of names on the web, but not of vinyl stripes at a reasonable price. (I did find one company boatstripes in australia but they don't seem to reply to their own website enquiry system - usual frustration of a very good website which generates an enquiry form and an automatic acknowledgement then............ complete silence. A further email also produced no response so I assume it is a case of the website still being there but the company having disappeared !)

Regards

Just had this done.

As above, any signwriter will cut vinyl strips for you.

I wanted someone to make up stripes to match the original stripes on my boat which were made up of 5 seperate colours in a single stripe. All the signwriters I spoke to were prepared to do this as 5 seperate stipes which I would have had to apply seperately. I reckoned my chances of applying these successfully without making it look awful were low.

I wanted someone to cut the stripes and lay them up on an application sheet for me so I could apply them in one go. Very few people were even prepared to quote to do this. I found one company prepared to do it, see URL below. Very happy with the results.

I have used SAC as previously recommended. Used their stripes and letterings for boat names SSR numbers and Tender lettering. Used them twice on current and previous boat. IMO I found them to excellent. I am in my 5th year with current boat and the signs still look as good as new.

Regards.

Peter.
