I heard a factoid on Steve Wright's programme on Radio2 this afternoon. Apparently, there is £10 worth of gold suspended in seawater globally per human on the planet.

That means over £60billion. If we get together and find a away of extracting only 0.1% of the total, it would be worth £600m.

Anybody else up for it?

go on then

what's your idea for extracting it? I think it might take rather a lot of difficult filtering involving tons of seaweed removal. Note that any large lumps of copper are probably mine, really.
