Strikes in Greece

Last year, like many others I was inconvenienced by strikes. Like many others I am making plans for 2012 (travel, launch dates etc.). Is there a website giving dates of future planned strikes? If not, perhaps someone with this information could pass it on to us forumites!

The strikes are still ongoing, some are simply an inconvenience, ferry strikes are the worst. Please also bear in mind that Athens may be in chaos, elsewhere on the islands life goes on as normal, they all have to earn a coin, they do not all strike.

Havent heard anything so far, will be travelling back to Greece on monday/tuesday, I'll check with some friends and see if they know anything and post then.

Avoid Wednesdays

As a general rule avoid using flights or ferries on any Wednesday. In general that's their favourite day for striking. I guess that's because it breaks the week up? Mondays and Fridays (and the weekend of course) you're usually fairly safe from strikes.
