I'm trying to find out the "going rate" prices for winter guardiennage services in the Med. If you use guardiennage or happen to know current prices, please would you list the prices here, and size of boat it relates to etc. Thanks.

(I'm trying to help a friend out who has had requests to be a guardiennage person over the winter but doesn't know what the going-rate prices are)

12 M - 300 euros a month

new 52 - 400 euros a month

checks the boat a least once a week, washes it every two weeks and if we go for a weekend he'll put some basic supplies on boat and switch the fridges on. He'll also take the boat round to La Rague for a lift and scrub if needed but thats extra. He will also arrange service or any spannering if needed.

Hope that helps

200 quid for 4 visits and a couple of washes? I hope there's more to it than that. If he manages 20 boats, it's not a bad little earner?

300 a month.... Ruddy hell. My Mrs does it for a coffee and a piece of cake. (metaphorically speaking)
And she cleans the boat /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My ideal job:-

1. Living in the Med
2. Spending all my time being around boats
3. Cleaning some big cruisers every now and then
4. Get to drive somebody elses boat
5. Get to spend somebody elses money on servicing etc.
6. OK so I might have to do a bit of shopping

And somebody might actually pay me for this??

Anybody got the number for Easyjet?

I pay €270 for a complete exterior/interior clean on my boat which sounds a lot but they do a good job. Peters at Cala d'Or quote about €400 per month for a guardiennage service for a 46 footer and from my previous experience with them, they also do a good job with things like laundry and getting in basic supplies as a modest extra
Those are the costs in Majorca. I would expect to pay more in SoF
