Clyde, Largs, Inverkip and Troon: female crew looking for cruiser crewing experience
There does not seem to be much activity on this forum North of the border but maybe they are just a shy, retiring lot up here?
I am a non-smoker (new to sailing, and south-west Scotland) who is looking for cruiser crewing opportunities. After my first 'sail' earlier this year I have done a few short trips and recently spent 10 days cruising the Western Isles. I am now hooked and want to learn to sail. How can I get to meet a single, professional, non smoking cruiser skipper who would appreciate some company?
I learn quickly, am reasonably fit, can knock up a great bacon sandwich and am not afraid ‘breaking a nail’.
Any suggestions?
