But that "Hand-polished to a mirror like finish and constructed of 316 marine grade stainless steel" looks like it may get all slippery when wet and I bet you'd have to keep polishing it.
Mind you "With the feel of precision engineering, twin races of fast-action, ball bearings, and a comfortable ergonomic shape" I bet it would be a joy to handle and give hours of satisfaction.

I'm an older man now, I find it's no use relying on the old proboscis, and I'm not as touch sensitive with rod or shooting a line these days, so facing my prey is essential - even with a firm grip on my Edson power knob.
Sorry I missed the point. I thought the whole idea behind the Edson power knob was that it helped you do it on your own, I hadn't realised it was a gang thing.
