There are some pics on

But that "Hand-polished to a mirror like finish and constructed of 316 marine grade stainless steel" looks like it may get all slippery when wet and I bet you'd have to keep polishing it.
Mind you "With the feel of precision engineering, twin races of fast-action, ball bearings, and a comfortable ergonomic shape" I bet it would be a joy to handle and give hours of satisfaction.

It may be the early bird that catches the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.

What ever can you mean "Take it to the edge" "Over the top"?

According to the web page, "Edson's Power Knob Pro-Series will make backing down on a fish or into a slip a calm and enjoyable maneuver."

Either would be useful but would be even easier facing the other way.

I'm an older man now, I find it's no use relying on the old proboscis, and I'm not as touch sensitive with rod or shooting a line these days, so facing my prey is essential - even with a firm grip on my Edson power knob.

Sorry I missed the point. I thought the whole idea behind the Edson power knob was that it helped you do it on your own, I hadn't realised it was a gang thing.
