Was it ever revealed what this boat was all about?

Reading this right this second in MBM this month /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif What a coincidence!

Seen in San Francisco bay, designed by Jim Antrim, a naval architect from california from a concept first patented by explorer and scientist Ugo Conti.

Antrim says: "It originally had wing-shaped fairlings around the beams, and my version of the living quarters behind the bridge was elegant and had windows, wheras what's come out is an ugly, windowless box"

The original patent says the boat does not push, slap or pierce the waves but instead 'dances' with them.

"The invention utilises flexibility to adjust the vessels' structure and form to the water surface, instead of adjusting or changing the water to conform to the vessel"

its a 100ft motor cat with rigid inftatable legs

thats all the article says, hope that helps /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Havent I'm afraid, just copied the artcle out of MBM, there is an email address for stewart_campbell@ipcmedia.com at the newsdesk who may be able to give you more information, or there is even Keith who I'm sure has many contacts in the mag, maybe if you drop him a PM he will be able to help /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
