Here is a somewhat surreal video taken by my son and his mates on a sailing weekend on Cento for his 16th birthday.

They are all members of a band, and this is their first foray into a promotional video, even though the music is Rage Against the Machine. I warn you it is surreal, even I feature!(at the end)

East coasters may recognise Felixstowe, Walton & Brightlingsea, as well as the odd Thames barge. Hence the post here. As you can see, it was a cracking sailing weekend!

16 year old surrealism

Yeah, terrible, isnt it - watching kids enjoying themselves while I'm sitting here! Shouldn't be allowed, sez I..

Hmmm.... Highly unlikely!!

I will ask them on your behalf

(collapses in fits of laughter!! - Then remembers he has a number of albums by said groups)

Perhaps we should organise a Battle Of The Bands on the boats as my Heir Apparent also has a band. They would gig anywhere for peanuts.

Great, Very Funky

Toms lot are here, but are going to split after their gig next friday as he has a few other musical projects on the go, and being in three bands is too much.

They will re-form as Aviatrix with a slight line up change!

False sense of Security

Tell them to give up with the band and the music they play. It might save some of their brain cells for future use.

More money I reckon to be made in them offering surreal promotional videos to skippers who need to attract a younger type of crew member.

The video editing style does show signs of creativity - this needs to be nurtured. Put the author on a course.
