Sitting poolside here at 20 degrees south in 30 degrees of sun, flight cancelled for tomorrow morning so cover off on Wednesday, mast up on Thursday and moving from mud berth on Friday isn't going to happen. I reckon we are stuck here for at least a week. Anyone got the height of tide at Southend on Monday and Tuesday?

You need to register at Easytide to get 7 days but here you go

Thanks everybody. I could be ok then. Perhaps I did my planning with last years tide table. I thought it was springs this week ending next weekend. I need a 5.6 to get 'out' of the mud berth so I have a week more than I thought. I'll go back to the Pina Coladas!

Grateful for the effort chaps.

I understand Dan Snow was organising a Dunkirk-like evacuation of stranded Brits from France with a few RIBs. You might want to tweet him about a possible longer trip before your Pina Colada fund is exhausted :D

Well I was a bit disappointed that no ECF member has set off to save us! Just done a quick Pino calculation and we are ok for another week! SWMBO has found a Indian Soap translated into English so she's happy. There is a rumour here that Heathrow is opening tomorrow. There's a few a bit worried about funds. Virgin are apparently covering the extra Hotel costs, Kuoni are saying its an Act of God and their customers have to pay themselves.
