Stowe Navigator upgrade to Dataline

I am thinking of upgrading my elderly Stowe Navigator and Navsounder displays. Is it possible to keep the (later model) paddle wheel and transducer fittings, and wiring in situ, and replace with Dataline displays? Are they still available, is it cost- effective, and has anyone had experience of doing this?
