Stowe Micro 210 Log problem

I have a Stowe Micro 21o Log /Wind Speed fitted to my boat that I purchased recently.
The problem is that there is no speed readout, it just stays at 0.0 .

I have removed the paddlewheel and it seems to be spinning freely.
There is also a small letter P displayed on the readout and as I have not got a user manual, I cannot tell whether this is an error code.

Can a paddlewheel tranducer be tested?

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Might I suggest you email Alan Williams at info@awmarine.com for help and advice - even spares if you need any.

He is the authority on Robertson/Stowe/Simrad instruments, and/as he bought up all the spares available.
