Hello to everybody,
my old (1984) Stowe instrumentation is giving me some problems: the speed instrument impeller has broken and needs replacing: any idea, as Stowe company does not exists anymore (even if I was told that Mr Stowe operates some marine intrumentatio operation in southern England) where I could get a spare impeller or wether there are alternatives (are all impellers equivalent? That could be as all have 4 paddles, but the small magneto specs could be different)? Of course I can get the information on speed and log by the GPS, but as the Stowe includes the Navigator 2, I apreciated having the VMG clearly reported (by the way, seems nowadays that nobody cares about VMG anymore; do You agree? and why is that?
Cheers from Italy

You need to contact AW Marine....

AW Marine bought the entire stock of Stowe spare parts when Simrad bought Stowe some years ago. If anyone has a spare impeller, it'll be them. Unfortunately, having the monopoly results in monopoly pricing!

It was nice when you could pop into Stowe just a few hundred yards down the road....or pop up the road and talk to the owner.....happy days!... still, certainly don't degrudge him!
