The boat I am working on has Stowe navigator and Depth instruments. they seem to work fine despite being in excess of 20 years old. Does anyone have a manual - or can tell me how to set the alarms? I'm usulllay good with "buttons" but this has defeated me!
Cheers

Sorry, I have the Stowe kit, too, but no manual. Fortunately, none of the bottons works either, so I just have the basic functions. Waiting for the whole lot to give up one day so I can justify new.

Depth - from what I remember you turn the dial to shallow or deep depending on which alarm you are after and use the two buttins either side to raise or lower the set point.

May have a manual on board - will check next time i am up.

Yep I've got them - PM me your email and I'll send them to you them in pdf.

Got my paddle wheel clean and spinning - put it in the water - nix. Don't need it but looking at a blank screen is frustrating. Sounder seems fine - reads zero just before I hit the putty /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

To set the deep or shallow alarm, turn the knob to deep or shallow. The display will be all zeros and the rightmost digit flashes. To increase the flashing digit, press the right button as many times as you want to change. It cycles back to 0 after 9. To change the active digit to the next left digit, press the left button. When the display is showing the desired alarm value, switch the knob back to show depth in your units.
To cancel an alarm, press either of the buttons.
To switch the alarm off again, go back to the setting position of the knob and press the buttons to set the alarm value to 000.
Regards,
Derek
