stowe depth transducer

I am also interested in answers to this question - we have Stowe instruments, but they have all packed up.
I have bought a new Raymarine ST40 Bidata depth and log system, and I am wondering if the nice chunky bronze Stowe depth transducer which is fitted through the hull (and which I am hoping still works) will be compatible with the Raymarine Bidata unit.
The Raymarine transducer is a much less substantial plastic affair, and I would prefer to leave the bronze transducer in place and use it, if possible.

Stowe depth transducers used to be 205Hz, whereas Nasa use 150Hz. If the Stowe transducer works at all with the Nasa, it might not be very satisfactory.

My Stowe Transducer packed up 3 years ago. Non-standard Frequency meant I'd have to wait until a small run of replacements were made - cost about £90.

In the end I opted to buy a Navman which has standard frequency and will work with most other companies transducers.
