Stowe Dataline Transducers-Sikaflex Compatible

Just fitting a new thru depth transducer to my Stowe Dataline system. It is not clear from the instructions whether Sikaflex 291 can be used as the sealant-for anyone else fitting one of these Stowe's technical guys have confirmed the plastic on these transducers is not attacked by Sikaflex.

Replaced both the Speed/Log transducer housing tube (with a 'flapper') on my Dataline using Sikaflex 5 years ago. Tube still OK & boat hasn't sunk - yet
