We have had a lot on Oz TV news about storms across UK and Europe. I am surprised no one has mentioned them on this forum. I hope all forum ites are Ok and boats all undamaged.
Season has been going for 4 weeks here. I find after 4 weeks from antifoul the bottom is covered in slime. I will wipe it off today.(while swimming) After 5 months of maintenance at home 2 failures on the first outing. The shackle for the main tack at the gooseneck failed. The mainsheet traveller was worn out. Having upward bumps in the load bearing track near the centre. Pulling main sheet on too tight. Or is it the the 35 years of hard sailing? Track now replaced and shackle for tack replaced. Inspection completed yesterday for category 5 safety gear for racing at night. So we are right into the madness in the little boat again. olewill

?

There have been quite a few threads. Don't think any forumites have reported damage to their own boats, but there were pictures of at least one third-party boat blown ashore, another sunk, and as always a couple of shredded jibs.
