Storing Kobra anchor on pulpit rail

Hi all,
another project that I was going to look at this summer was a better way of storing the anchor - it's a Kobra 2 that's been welded up, I think the 12kg version -

The pulpit looks like this, on a 27ft long keel boat -

I was wondering if there were any "cross bar" SS solutions that may be out there, or would I be better off getting something made?
At the moment it's stored in a crate tied down on the deck - which is fine, but would be tidier with it's own mount.

Difficult anchor to store because of the long tip. This is how I keep my Kobra 16kg

Yes it doesn't fit very well over our bow, anyway we're on a swinging mooring so don't really want it there as it would get in the way of the mooring chain. Thanks for the pic though!

It might be possible to hang it from the cross brace on the back of the anchor. I remember the type of clips used onthe bars of a Danforth style to hang them on a pulpit. The Kobra could also be hung upside down in this instance . It could also be hung off the forward hole in the shaft and by a simple hook. Either way you'd have to tie it off with a strop to stop it rattling around. We have a Kobra as well, but it lives on a roller.
