Storage ashore + brokerage - Cheap boat.

I recently purchased my boat as a “doer upper”. She’s a good sound boat and an easy project. Unfortunately I bought her on an impulse which for several personal reasons I now regret and so want to sell her! She’s currently afloat in Lymngton. Her value is probably around £6k so understandably, not something the larger brokerages are interested in selling! Where would be the cheapest yard to haul her out and store her? She’s perfectly mobile so anywhere considered within reason?

Storing her ashore as cheaply as possible is more important to me than selling her.

Have a look at the 'used boat show' deals?
Some clubs have shore storage.
Look at the smaller yards up S'hampton.

I'd suggest selling it before it racks up yard bills and deteriorates.

Quay Lane? Drying pontoons in deep mud, swinging moorings or storage ashore. Not a lot of depth, so deep fins need not apply.

Near Hardway in Portsmouth Harbour.

Odessa Marine in Newport, IoW might also be worth a call.

How about Thornham Marina or Paynes boatyard near Emsworth. I think they do good ashore deals.

I found Drivers in Southampton very helpful and reasonably priced when I had bought a boat that I needed to over-winter on the South Coast before sailing her north in the spring.
