Now I know that there is nowhere to casually stop in London, its all stone walls, steps and no moorings.

However, there is a group of us coming for a day trip and it would be nice to stop for a break. Does anyone know of a commercial pontoon that may take a paid booking from a group of boats for a short midday break. Boats will be between 18 and 20 Foot possibly 4 boats.

Dove pier in Hammersmith is nice and calm.

Imperial wharf is closer to the action, but it WILL be very bumpy in a speed boat. I would venture uncomfortably, and maybe even dangerously so if you're unlucky. Others may ridicule that, but for those who know, a spring tide in full flow coupled with unlucky wash combinations will make getting on and off risky.

Used both, service at both is fine, probably better at imperial (the pier master on the barge will take your tenner if you really insist on giving it to him!!)

there is one meaningful option has come but it would be good to go with some sound options as well but first the wait is to cut short to make it happen

+1

Just looked at all Alma's posts - some of them bear resemblance to English, and two even seem to have some words that are slightly relevant to the thread (s)he's posted in.
