Looks like an old style stop. Trafalgar Yacht Chandlery ,Fareham stock a lot of older Westerly gearand with your photo may be able to match that one or have a paired set; Alternatively the Chandlery Barge at Bursledon may well have these in their secondhand stocks. Both are on the Net if you Google. Try both to compare for prices though.

That sort of track and plunger operated stop were provided by Bowman Masts on the East Coast, but they sadly packed in years ago.

A relatively inexpensive - and much lower friction - alternative would be the stuff from Barton Marine , their tracks are I think all X section, but I'm pretty sure they do plunger stops; the set-up as I remember it would be plungers to put where one wishes to limit the mainsheet moving on the traveller, and actual end stops to prevent the car coming off the track.

Not sure the Barton bits will be any good as their track is 25mm not 27mm. Their fixed end stops are just plastic caps, and the sliding bits have pins that look smaller diameter than the sample. Other modern tracks are also either 25mm or 30mm. So secondhand shops best bet.

Tranona,

I was talking of replacing the lot for a modern low friction version, hence my saying 'alternative'; I'd think Nianders' chances of finding a direct replacement are rather slim, but good luck !
