On Sat 6th August at 6.45 pm we moored our Sunsport Arib 270 with a 4hp
2stroke Yamaha outboard on the southern end of the mid-river pontoon at Gins Farm Beaulieu whilst we joined our Port Solent Rally boats further up the
pontoon - for cocktails and to enjoy the red arrows air display.
By 7.30 pm the Sunsport had disappeared, along with the Sailboat we tied
alongside. The Sunsport was brand new, purchased 3 days before for my husband's 65th Birthday - its serial number was CNSSLUH083C010.
Despite being given several leads the police do not seem to have given this
theft much priority - so if you know of someone suddenly acquiring a new
Sunsport Arib 270, or offering one for sale please let us know. It obviously won't have its own storage/carry bag.
We understand from sightings that it may have been towed back to Gosport Marina
