Byron,

This one came up on Scuttlebutt a few days ago as well. I'm a bit puzzled why it doesn't have any Ts and Cs or transparent about us info, given its subject.

There's no reason why we couldn't add a forum in the readers' report section on which to post stolen boat info if that was seen as a good thing.

<font color=blue>I think such a forum would be superb, with one proviso and that is having it with the reply function disabled to prevent people adding comment amusing and/or useless.
As I said in my initiating posting. That other site has all the makings of being a winner it just needs streamlining. I am not sure what you mean about Ts., Cs., and transparent. The author does state it is non-profit.

think the idea is brill.

needs to be linked to a major website such as MBY.

obviously potential for income stream for MBY (recovery fee etc)

Kim, having had a boat stolen many years ago, I think this linked to teh numbers of people user your site it would be a winner and seriously lower the chance of losing a boat for good.
