Prior to Christmas I always lack suggestions for presents.
Immediately afterwards I think "I could have asked for ...." etc
So here are some suggestions:
1. I recently bought a set of "Grabit screw extractors" off ebay. I used them last weekend where the head had been chewed off some screws. Brilliant.
2. Wera Compact Bit-Holding Kompakt 20 Screwdriver. Currently on sale at Screwfix. Kept at the chart table. Used all the time.
3. For upmarket spanners the Wera Joker Spanner Set. Not cheap but such a nice kit.
4. Hydraulic Battery cable crimper off ebay.
5. My cordless tool range of choice: Makita 18v Li-ion.
6. Lifeproof cases for iphones and ipads. I bought mine having destroyed a previous iphone due to water ingress. The case has already saved the phone where it was left in the cockpit in the sudden rush to go down below in a downpour.
Add your own to the list to give ideas to others.
