Hi all
I am having trouble with my port side throttle when going into gear. It seems to me that one of the pipes coming from the steering unit(not sure of the correct terminology) is fouling the gear selector cable cause it to bend when shifting into gear, therefore making it very stiff to go from neutral to forward. The boat is a fairline targa 30
Has anyone came across this before or know of a way i could fix it? I have tried slackening the four bolts holding the steering unit in place to see if i could twist in enough to allow the pipes to miss the cable but it wont seem to move at all.
