Hi there,
I have unfortunately 3 days a go hit the starboard side of my 28ft yacht at approx 30cm above waterline, during a sudden storm.
After one day when i tried to inspect the scratches i noticed that a couple of them were quite deep :ambivalence: and the affected area felt soft like rubber or so. To my understanding it should be harder.
I wonder if the material below can soften up, by water and air contact. The picture should be quite explanatory.
Any advise welcome currenlty I plan to clean up the area and apply new gelcoat asap.
